This is the classic chocolate chip cookie, gluten-free! It's exactly the same as our freedom cookie base, but with semi-sweet chocolate chips added (dairy-free and nut-free, of course). All you need is margarine or butter, and water. Scoops about 4 dozen cookies.
Feel free to add further ingredients like coconut, nuts, or dried fruit.
Dough keeps nicely in the fridge up to five days, if you want to bake a dozen daily. For longer storage of dough, the freezer is great.
These are great comfort treats for kids with new allergy diagnoses; gluten, dairy & egg sensitivities often show up all at once!
