This is a typical biscuit or scone base; you can add cheese, herbs, onions, OR add sugar and some fruit and makee it sweet! Made with butter and milk, this gluten-free scone can also be made vegan with a milk alternate & oil in place of butter (add a pinch of salt if not using butter or margarine).
Just form with your hands, breaking down the room-temperature butter into smaller pieces, adding milk to form 8 slightly flattened balls. Great for brunches and entertaining.
Make smaller scones if you prefer, and add whatever you like!
